How to Make Money Selling Ringtones (6 Steps)
Get a website. Do this by buying services from a web hosting company such as Blue Host, iPage or Fat Cow. Whatever service you pick, make sure that it is one that allows you to have unlimited traffic. In choosing a domain name, pick something that will appeal to a specific group of consumers.
Open a PayPal account for your website to pay into. PayPal offers services specifically tailored to suit the needs of Internet businesspeople.
Become an affiliate with a content service. It would be basically impossible for you to directly sell copyrighted ringtones on your own, as the publishers do not freely license third parties to sell their songs. This content service will give you a percentage of every ringtone sold through your website.
Pick songs that appeal to the same consumer group that you were aiming to target when you chose your domain name. For instance, if you are targeting teenage girls, pick songs that teenage girls tend to like. If you are targeting snowboarders, pick songs that snowboarders enjoy.
Start an advertising program. The simplest way of doing this is going through a pay-per-click service, such as those offered by Google and Yahoo. Many web hosting companies will give you free points for Google and/or Yahoo advertising. Put a few hundred dollars more into the advertising program on top of this. Another way of increasing traffic to your site is by going to Internet communities or blogs that appeal to your consumer base and posting links.
Continue updating your site. Post new songs, pictures and written content regularly, and find other things to sell as well. This will keep your visitors coming back.

How to Make Money Investing in Websites
Find a website that is available for purchase. This can be done easily by searching website auctions found on sites such as Flippa and eBay. Additionally, you can contact individual website owners directly and ask them if they are interested in selling.
Determine how you want to monetize your new website. Popular options include selling advertisement space, affiliate products, or generating leads for other companies.
Modify your website to reflect the monetization method you have chosen. If you are partnering with an established advertising agency like Google Adsense or Yahoo Ads, they will provide you with HTML code to insert into your website to display their ads.
Drive traffic to your website by promoting it across the Internet. This can be done free through social networking sites like Digg and Stumbleupon, or you can purchase advertising directly through other companies.
Test various offers and advertisements to see what is the highest converting offer. The higher your conversion rate, the more money you will make with your website.

How to Become a Credit Card Affiliate
Sign up for PayPal if you do not already have a PayPal account. Most affiliates are paid via PayPal so keep your PayPal email address handy as you will enter it repeatedly throughout the application process.
Create a blog or website for promoting the credit cards. You will need to list the domain name of your site when you apply to an affiliate program. Once you are accepted to an affiliate program, add additional blogs, websites or other means of promotion as needed.
Visit http://www.CJ.com and select the option for publishers. Review the information regarding their program and complete the application process. Once approved, log in to the site and view the program partners. Click the 'apply' button for any credit cards you would like to promote.
Read the promotion guidelines to ensure you follow their requirements if you are approved as an affiliate. Begin to promote the credit card both on your site as well as other places such as discussion forums, blog comments and any other sites you prefer.

How to Set Up an Affiliate Program Online (5 Steps)
Determine the commission amount you would like to pay for your affiliates. E-commerce marketplaces typically require more commission payouts to attract affiliates. It may appear that you are getting less money by offering a higher commission payout (more than 30 percent), but the more affiliates you have, the more potential for income.
Create a website for your product and/or affiliate program. A website for your product allows affiliates to link customers back to your website, where they can make a purchase. If you have not had a website designed for your business and you are not proficient in designing one yourself, contact a freelance web designer by going to sites like getafreelancer.com or Elance.com.
Establish whether or not you are going to set up an affiliate program that will require you to handle the payouts and tracking of affiliates or if you want to have a third party affiliate program established for you. Click Bank is the largest third party affiliate program for digital products. They handle enrollment, tracking and payment of your affiliates.
Purchase affiliate tracking software. If you do not want to use third-party affiliate programs, purchase affiliate software to track and pay your affiliates. Affiliate tracking software will provide a unique link that will be given to each affiliate. When they send customers to you through their link you will be able to connect the customer to your affiliate so you can properly pay them.
Set up a plan for paying your affiliates. PayPal, a third-party merchant processor, is preferred and accepted by many affiliates. Otherwise, determine if you will send a paper check or use direct deposit into your affiliates' accounts, though they may not feel comfortable giving you their account numbers.

How to Make Money with the Google Affiliate Program
Sign up with the Google Affiliate Network. Use the link in the resources section of this article. You'll have to enter basic information about yourself and your website. It may take a day or two to receive your acceptance email.
Log into your account. After you've been accepted, you can revisit the Google Affiliate Network site and log in.
Search for products or advertisers that fit your niche. For successful affiliate marketing, you need to match the right offer with your audience. For example, if your website is about camping, then you should look for companies that sell camping supplies. You can do this by clicking on either the 'Products' or 'Advertisers' buttons at the top of your screen.
Apply to the advertisers that interest you. Click on the small box next to the advertiser names, then click on the 'Apply to selected' button at the top of the screen. Some advertisers will approve you immediately, while others manually approve applicants.
Get the advertising code for your website. You can view a list of your approved advertisers under the 'Advertisers' and 'Approved' links. You can click on the 'Actions' button and scroll down to 'Get links.' This shows you the available ads.
Place the ad code on your website. If you're using a blog like WordPress, you can usually put it in a text-based widget. If you're using HTML, you'll need to modify the code to properly show the advertisement.
Monitor your advertising campaigns. If you aren't having success with a particular ad, swap it out for a different ad from the same company or change companies altogether.

How to Make Money with eCards
Register a domain name and obtain hosting for your site. If you have an existing site that you want to promote eCards on, then skip this step.
Decide what kind of content you are going to put on your site. Do you only want it to be about eCards, or do you want to be more broad, such as eCards and gift suggestions, or eCards and fun trivia?
Create your website content. Depending on your technical knowledge and how quickly you write, this could take anywhere from one day to several months. If you have an existing site, it may only take you a few hours to add a new section.
Apply to eCard affiliate programs. Just about every major eCard site has an affiliate program (see Resources).
Wait for approval. Some affiliate programs must approve your application before you can begin promoting. Others will let you have access to their links and tools instantly.
Read the terms to see when and how you will be paid. Some programs only pay for paid eCard subscriptions. Some only pay if you have made a certain amount each month. Others don't pay for eCards at all; they pay each time you send someone to their website and that person subscribes to their newsletter. Read the details so that you know what to promote and how you will get paid.
Add the links, banners and other tools to your website in a strategic manner. Do not just make a website full of links and banners; this will not be profitable. You must incorporate the links into your content and give people something valuable.
Start promoting your website. If you just let it sit, no one will know about it.

How to Find Affiliates for a Website
Go to a large Internet company like Ebay, Overstock.com or Amazon.com. Look at the bottom of their page in the lower navigation bar where there are usually links for contacting the company, terms and conditions and so on. You might find a link that says 'Affiliates' or 'Advertise'. If so, click this link and sign up for their affiliate program.
Go to any large Internet advertising company that hosts affiliate programs for smaller companies, like Linkshare, or Commission Junction (cj.com). Create an account with one of those companies and surf through their affiliate programs. They partner with many companies and offer text links, banners and more advanced advertising that you can simply cut and paste into your website. You apply for each program separately with a simple click of the mouse. Once approved, paste these affiliate ads right into your website.
Search the Internet for affiliate advertising, or affiliate programs and you will find a host of websites that offer information on affiliate programs and a few that list hundreds of companies that are looking for website affiliates. Sign-up for web advertising newsletters, or visit online or interactive advertising websites. They offer more information on where to find affiliate programs, how to increase your conversions, and which affiliate programs are the most lucrative.
Network with other website publishers and web designers. Ask them about their own affiliate programs, and keep your own ear to the ground for new and upcoming affiliate possibilities. Nearly every company today has some sort of affiliate program, and they are interested on expanding their reach on the Internet. There is plenty of opportunity for you to profit from this new medium if you know where to look!

How to Create an Affiliate Program (7 Steps)
Identify your target market. You must know who your target market is, including such vital information as an average level of education and physical location, if you want to properly market your product or service.
Set a commission that you will pay your affiliates for each sale they make. You must make the commission high enough, typically no lower than 50 percent of the sale price, to make it worth an affiliate’s time to promote your product or service.
Decide who is eligible to become an affiliate. For instance, will you allow anyone from anywhere in the world to join your affiliate program, or must the person reside in the United States or in North America?
Determine whether you will provide your affiliates with a website that is identical to the one you are using to sell your product or service or whether they will have to create a Web site themselves to promote your product or service. Providing them with a web template will make it much easier and much quicker for them to start their promotional efforts.
Make it easy for your affiliates to promote your product by providing them with content for their website and to use when marketing and by offering them banner ads, in different sizes, they can display to advertise your product or service.
Begin finding affiliates. There are numerous ways to find affiliates, including adding a link on your website that will directly take those who are interested to your affiliate sign-up sheet, using pay-per-click advertising like Google AdWords and Yahoo Search Marketing and emailing prospective affiliates with whom you are interested in partnering.
Continue to recruit affiliates as you can never have too many affiliates, and you never know when an affiliate will decide to stop promoting your product or service. Remember, the more affiliates you have, the more money you are likely to make.

How to Promote Credit Cards (4 Steps)
Design a website or have one designed by a computer professional. Alternatively, create the website for no charge on your own by using free website templates or blog programs. Affiliates with no design skills need to hire a computer professional to build a website for them from scratch.
Choose a marketable niche. Pick a target market that you've determined you can rank for in the search engines. This will help drive traffic to your website when you use the proper keyword terms. Credit card companies you apply to will review your website prior to approving you as an affiliate. Ensure the website is pleasing to the eye, is interesting to potential consumers and meets the criteria credit card companies require such as a Terms and Conditions Page, a Privacy Policy, contact information and the appropriate FTC-required affiliate disclaimers.
Join an affiliate credit card program by signing up via the Internet. Select affiliate programs that closely match the needs of the people who will be visiting your niche website. For example, if your web property is in the college student niche, promote credit cards that cater to the needs of college students and provide features they may find appealing such as not needing a co-signer and getting cash back when they use their card to buy books for school.
Set up a means to collect payments. By promoting affiliate products such as credit card offers, you will need a way to receive payments from the credit card merchant after a visitor has signed up for a credit card at your site. Be certain that the affiliate companies with which you work, have the correct bank account on file for timely payments. Some merchants pay affiliate earnings through a third-party payment site like PayPal, which makes receiving payments quick and easy.
