How to Make Money As a Computer Tutor
Design courses for the levels of students you would like to teach and the computer topics you have expertise in. Include interactive exercises where students get plenty of chances to practice new skills.
Set up a formal business and a website to refer future students to. Include all of the courses you offer, pricing information, your credentials and articles about common computer topics to show off your knowledge and ability to communicate. Ensure your business meets with all local and state laws and requirements.
Market your computer services to community associations, senior citizens centers and other public entities that serve a wide range of people needing computer lessons. Approach home school co-ops, private schools, and churches as well. Consider offering low-cost courses to nonprofit organizations in your area. Contact businesses that offer technology solutions to nonprofits, like TechSoup, for information about teaching some courses for them.
Teach computer courses online. Record video tutorials about how to use computers or different types of software. Post them on your website, and have people pay to use them. Offer a few free ones to get students acclimated to your teaching style and the topics you cover. Also teach some live lessons on online tutoring websites such as EduFire or Fortemall.
Approach businesses to see if any of their employees could use some computer courses. An advanced Excel or QuickBooks course could be useful for administrative assistants and bookkeepers. Other employees may need additional training on software programs they use on a regular basis.

How to Make Money with eCards
Register a domain name and obtain hosting for your site. If you have an existing site that you want to promote eCards on, then skip this step.
Decide what kind of content you are going to put on your site. Do you only want it to be about eCards, or do you want to be more broad, such as eCards and gift suggestions, or eCards and fun trivia?
Create your website content. Depending on your technical knowledge and how quickly you write, this could take anywhere from one day to several months. If you have an existing site, it may only take you a few hours to add a new section.
Apply to eCard affiliate programs. Just about every major eCard site has an affiliate program (see Resources).
Wait for approval. Some affiliate programs must approve your application before you can begin promoting. Others will let you have access to their links and tools instantly.
Read the terms to see when and how you will be paid. Some programs only pay for paid eCard subscriptions. Some only pay if you have made a certain amount each month. Others don't pay for eCards at all; they pay each time you send someone to their website and that person subscribes to their newsletter. Read the details so that you know what to promote and how you will get paid.
Add the links, banners and other tools to your website in a strategic manner. Do not just make a website full of links and banners; this will not be profitable. You must incorporate the links into your content and give people something valuable.
Start promoting your website. If you just let it sit, no one will know about it.

How to Sell Bibles
Target the right market. You don't want to approach someone to purchase a Bible who doesn't follow the Christian religion or wasn't religious at all. Make your sales pitch to those who you know would be interested in this type of purchase. Approach people at your church, or other churches. You could also set up a storefront to sell Bibles or sell them online, depending on how far you want to take your business.
Display knowledge of your product. You can't effectively sell Bibles if you don't know the differences between the various versions. For example, the King James version of the Bible differs from the New International Version in terms of how verses are worded and the language used to communicate the various lessons. Some Bibles are geared towards specifics demographics, such as teenagers or women, with short stories and anecdotes found throughout. You need to know the difference between each version so that you can sell the right type of Bible to your customer.
Suggest additional supplies to accompany the Bible. According to Thomasnelson.com, 75 percent of the time, when a customer is presented with the option to purchase an add-on--such as Bible cover or religious reference dictionary--he will purchase it. Offer a variety of accessories meant to help your customers both take better care of their Bibles and/or that can translate authentic terminology.
Offer Bibles in a range of price ranges. Consumers may not always be able to afford the best Bible if it costs too much money. Therefore, as a knowledge Bible salesman, you need to show them other options that are just as effective in terms of the information contained within, but within the parameters of their specific budget.
