How to Buy Wholesale Gift Cards

Acquire a vendor's license. A vendor's license will allow you to buy items wholesale from many places by establishing yourself as a member of the gift card industry. Qualifications vary by state and municipality, so check with your local authorities. You may also want to obtain a federal tax identification number (TIN) number from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The number makes it easier to separate your business expenses from your personal expenses. You can apply for one by filling out an application on the IRS's website. You may be asked for this number when shopping at gift card wholesalers.
Purchase gift cards from a wholesaler, which is a seller who sells items in great bulk at a lower cost. Some wholesalers are open to both the public and industry professionals while others cater exclusively to members of the gift card industry. You can contact several gift card wholesalers to see who has the best price and best variety. One wholesaler may have a large number of gift cards from many different retailers but not have many specific monetary denominations. Other wholesalers may be able to offer you lowered prices on a specific type of gift card. Yet another wholesaler may work exclusively with a specific large company and offer only cards from that company. Decide if you want to specialize or you prefer to work only several types of cards.
Buy online. Online retailers can offer you vast discounts. However, online retailers should be carefully vetted before you purchase from them. The card types should be visible. The site should have a contact number. All cards should be in good condition with no scratches and unopened packages. Shipping methods should allow for as little handling as possible and aim to prevent theft of the cards.

How Do I Make Money Scrapping Circuit Boards?

Locate metal recyclers and refineries in your area. You can search online or contact your local department of public works to find out if they know of any circuit board buyers in your area. Create a list that includes the name, address and preferred contact method (phone, email or personal visit) for each potential buyer.
Contact each recycling company and refinery local to you. Find out how much they pay and what their requirements are. Some buyers will only accept the circuit board itself, while others will take whole computers and pay you extra for the other computer parts.
Make a list of each buyer along with the prices they pay and their requirements.
Search local ads such as Craigslist, for free computers that you can pick up and recycle for money.
Place an ad on free ad boards to let your community know that you will pick up their old computers for free. If you can afford it, you could also take out an ad in the local paper.
Check the metal prices regularly. Sites such as Precious Metals Refined and RECYCLENET post the daily metal prices in their 'Markets at a Glance' section. By learning the trends, you know when the buyers will be paying more.
Look outside of your local area if there are no refineries and recyclers nearby. Companies such as Gazelle purchase circuit boards through an online website. They even pay for the shipping and handling and will even send you boxes for shipping.
Join online or local groups that discuss circuit board recycling trends. There you will have a group of peers that can provide some tips and pointers that will help you in your circuit board scrapping business.

How to Earn Extra Part Time Income (4 Steps)

Write web content for sites (like eHow) that pay residual passive income. See link to my article 'How to Make Money Writing eHow Articles' in the resources section below. I consistently earn $200 per month from my bank of 125 eHow articles. I haven't written any articles for the past several months, so this income has been entirely passive after the initial effort of writing each article. For immediate cash, write for websites (like textbroker.com) that pay you a one-time sum for each article you complete. Most of these sites pay at least twice per month. See resources section below for a link to a comprehensive listing of sites that pay you to write.Other ways to earn extra part time income online include taking surveys, posting in forums, and answering questions for a website like chacha.com. I don't have personal experience with these means of generating income. I find that writing is more enjoyable and more lucrative, but many people earn extra cash from these sources.
Sell clothing and accessories that you no longer need. You can do this by selling items at online auction or networking sites. You can also take gently used brand name clothing to a consignment shop, especially children's clothes. I earn extra money by scouring local thrift stores and yard sales for brand name children's clothing, then selling it on consignment for a profit. I live near a thrift store that sells clothing and textiles for a minimal by-the-pound price. I've bought items there for pennies that I've later sold online or on consignment at a significant profit.
Sell scrap gold jewelry. You might have gold earrings that are missing a mate, broken pieces of jewelry, or other mismatched or miscellaneous gold items. In many cases, these items would just get thrown away. Earn extra part time income by selling these to a dealer that buys precious metals. See resources section below for a link to my article on how to determine the value of scrap gold.
Sell your plasma. Plasma donation centers are regulated by state and federal government, and are required to use safe, sterile equipment. If you choose to earn extra part time income by selling your plasma, make sure you are in good health, free of communicable diseases, and that you meet all of the restrictions and requirements per the health screening questionnaire you will be asked to take when you first donate.

How to Make Money by Doing Task Jobs

The first way to make extra cash is by looking for work that is available in your area right now. You can do this by going to domystuff.com. The first page of this website will have a place available for you to enter in your zip code and search for work that is being offered by people for your local area. If the selection is limited, look to the right side of the page and you will see an area which allows you to filter by location. Click on 'Work From Home'. The jobs that appear will be jobs that are being offered to anyone, regardless of where they live. Read through them and see if you'd like to complete any of the available work. The work that is being offered by the 'Outsourcer', is paid according to their personal instructions. No two tasks are guaranteed to be the same, nor paid the same.
Next, you can make immediate cash by looking for task work on Amazon Mechanical Turk. These tasks are posted by companies, or individuals looking for such things, as help with the ease of their new websites, checking their forms for complications, writing short articles or blog posts. You can find these tasks at mturk.com You even have the option of searching only for tasks that pay above 1.00 per hit. By doing this, you can rack up some extra cash in no time at all. They might seem tedious, but they do add up quickly. These positions are paid via the poster to Amazon. You are paid by Amazon. You can choose to have the money directly deposited into your checking or savings account, or receive it towards your next Amazon.com purchase.
Finally, you can complete short, simple tasks at shorttask.com. This website allows you to complete simple tasks that companies do not want to hire staff to do. Thus, they hire for virtual workers to complete such tasks as transcription, identifying, and writing. They do not payout until your account has reached at least 20.00 and they pay via Paypal. The best thing about doing task work is that it is all based around you and your schedule. For instance, you can sign into the Amazon Mechanical Turk program at 1:30 AM if you'd like and find some tasks to complete. Of course, these are not get rich ideas, but they will allow you to make extra money by doing simple task work.

How to Earn a Child's Respect (7 Steps)

Draw boundaries to separate you as the adult decision-maker in the home from your child and his friends. Be friendly, but don't treat your child as your friend. Keep in mind that kids need adults to accept the role of parent, recommends psychologist, Jim Taylor, according to 'Psychology Today.' Host play dates for your children and plan activities with peers so you can establish peer friendships of your own to model respectful adult relationships for your children.
Respect your child's personal space, privacy, opinions and temperament while also teaching your child the household rules of behavior. Even young children like to have special personal items and a personal space such as a toy box reserved for play items. Ask before using these things to help teach your child respect for the belongings of others.
Model respect for members in the community by talking politely to people -- even when you may not agree with the person. Teach your child to respect people, regardless of differences in beliefs, ethnicity and ability.
Demonstrate respect for your parents and grandparents and model the behavior you'd like to see your children use with you as the child ages. Allow parents and grandparents special privileges at family gatherings as the elders, and make a point of asking them to talk about family history and heritage.
Make time to be with your child to enjoy activities together so he can learn to appreciate what parents do to keep him safe and comfortable. Discuss your work with your child and explain the details when your job takes you away from him.
Listen to your child. Avoid immediately accepting viewpoints about his behavior or actions from others, and praise him when he acts respectfully to you or others.
Establish a set of home rules, and be fair and consistent in enforcing these regulations with your child. Uneven and inconsistent enforcement frequently makes your child view your disciplinary actions as personal and vindictive, rather than a learning opportunity to keep him from harm. Fair application teaches respect for the rules and for the rule enforcer.
