How to Earn Extra Part Time Income (4 Steps)
Write web content for sites (like eHow) that pay residual passive income. See link to my article 'How to Make Money Writing eHow Articles' in the resources section below. I consistently earn $200 per month from my bank of 125 eHow articles. I haven't written any articles for the past several months, so this income has been entirely passive after the initial effort of writing each article. For immediate cash, write for websites (like textbroker.com) that pay you a one-time sum for each article you complete. Most of these sites pay at least twice per month. See resources section below for a link to a comprehensive listing of sites that pay you to write.Other ways to earn extra part time income online include taking surveys, posting in forums, and answering questions for a website like chacha.com. I don't have personal experience with these means of generating income. I find that writing is more enjoyable and more lucrative, but many people earn extra cash from these sources.
Sell clothing and accessories that you no longer need. You can do this by selling items at online auction or networking sites. You can also take gently used brand name clothing to a consignment shop, especially children's clothes. I earn extra money by scouring local thrift stores and yard sales for brand name children's clothing, then selling it on consignment for a profit. I live near a thrift store that sells clothing and textiles for a minimal by-the-pound price. I've bought items there for pennies that I've later sold online or on consignment at a significant profit.
Sell scrap gold jewelry. You might have gold earrings that are missing a mate, broken pieces of jewelry, or other mismatched or miscellaneous gold items. In many cases, these items would just get thrown away. Earn extra part time income by selling these to a dealer that buys precious metals. See resources section below for a link to my article on how to determine the value of scrap gold.
Sell your plasma. Plasma donation centers are regulated by state and federal government, and are required to use safe, sterile equipment. If you choose to earn extra part time income by selling your plasma, make sure you are in good health, free of communicable diseases, and that you meet all of the restrictions and requirements per the health screening questionnaire you will be asked to take when you first donate.
