How to Write an eBook to Sell on the Internet
Choose a topic, preferably one that you are passionate and knowledgeable about. Think about experiences in your life where you learned something, and how you can share this information with others. Think about your talents and skills, and what you can teach others. How-to eBooks are the best sellers. For example, a cake decorator may want to write an eBook about 'How To Make Themed Cakes.'
Make an outline. If you wrote term papers in high school or college, you can write an eBook. Decide what your major topics will be and create an outline of the topics, in chronologial order if applicable. Jot some ideas down in a journal for a few weeks before you start writing the book.
Do your research. Just like writing a term paper, you must present some facts to back up your ideas. Surf the internet for other articles or websites that support your ideas. Find resources to help your reader, such as forums, articles, and blogs relating to the topic. Save the links to these sites for later.
Write your eBook using WORD or other word processing software. You don't have to purchase expensive eBook software to write and distribute an eBook. Your eBook can be any length, but remember that people like to get their information quickly, so you don't want your book to be too long. Remember that your readers will have a sense of urgency about learning the topic of your book. If your eBook is very long, consider splitting it up into several smaller eBooks on different specific topics. Using the cake decorating example from above, the author may want to write several eBooks explaining how to create shaped cakes, ideas for children's birthday cakes, how to use fondant icing, cake recipes, etc.
Ask friends, family, and co-workers to proofread your eBook. Ask for honest input and suggestions that will improve your book. Correct any mistakes and make any changes.
Add photos to your eBook. If possible, use your own. For example, our cake decorator may want to show photos of her completed cakes, steps in the decorating process, photos of ingredients, her particpation in contests, awards she has won, etc. If you don't have your own photos, use free photo sites on the internet. Just like in magazines, photos make reading more interesting.
Convert your document to a PDF file. You can find several free services on the internet to do this. Try PDFonline. Converting the document to a PDF makes it more difficult for others to copy your work. Documents in PDF are more easily transmitted via email and downloads, and they look more professional.
Consider writing an eBook to promote your business. When you are the author of an eBook, you can add links to your website, affiliate programs, blog, or online products. You are in control. You can create an affiliate program and allow others to sell your eBook on their websites for a commission. You can give your eBook away as a free gift, knowing that readers will visit your links and may become your customer. Check my eHow article, 'How to Market Your eBook Online,' and visit the resource links for more information about writing your own ebook.
Another great thing about ebooks is that you can make money from advertisers. Check the resources links below for how this passive income strategy works.

How to Earn Extra Part Time Income (4 Steps)
Write web content for sites (like eHow) that pay residual passive income. See link to my article 'How to Make Money Writing eHow Articles' in the resources section below. I consistently earn $200 per month from my bank of 125 eHow articles. I haven't written any articles for the past several months, so this income has been entirely passive after the initial effort of writing each article. For immediate cash, write for websites (like textbroker.com) that pay you a one-time sum for each article you complete. Most of these sites pay at least twice per month. See resources section below for a link to a comprehensive listing of sites that pay you to write.Other ways to earn extra part time income online include taking surveys, posting in forums, and answering questions for a website like chacha.com. I don't have personal experience with these means of generating income. I find that writing is more enjoyable and more lucrative, but many people earn extra cash from these sources.
Sell clothing and accessories that you no longer need. You can do this by selling items at online auction or networking sites. You can also take gently used brand name clothing to a consignment shop, especially children's clothes. I earn extra money by scouring local thrift stores and yard sales for brand name children's clothing, then selling it on consignment for a profit. I live near a thrift store that sells clothing and textiles for a minimal by-the-pound price. I've bought items there for pennies that I've later sold online or on consignment at a significant profit.
Sell scrap gold jewelry. You might have gold earrings that are missing a mate, broken pieces of jewelry, or other mismatched or miscellaneous gold items. In many cases, these items would just get thrown away. Earn extra part time income by selling these to a dealer that buys precious metals. See resources section below for a link to my article on how to determine the value of scrap gold.
Sell your plasma. Plasma donation centers are regulated by state and federal government, and are required to use safe, sterile equipment. If you choose to earn extra part time income by selling your plasma, make sure you are in good health, free of communicable diseases, and that you meet all of the restrictions and requirements per the health screening questionnaire you will be asked to take when you first donate.

How to Earn Multiple Income Streams of $5.00 a Day
Concentrate on your interests. There are several ways to earn money online that wont cost you a penny while others, such as niche blogging will cost very little. By writing about your interests for sites such eHow, selling affiliate products on Squidoo or creating niche blogs and monetizing them you can build up multiple income streams over time. check the resource section below for more information on niche blogging and freelance writing on sites such as eHow.
Find a mentor. Check out forums on places such as eHow and Wahm.com and after a while you will get an idea who the successful earners are. Chances are they have a blog with plenty of followers.
Educate yourself. See if your mentor offers an e-book or course available that maps out what they are doing. You can also find mentors who will offer free information on their blogs. Check the resource section for more information.
Stay in your comfort zone-sort of. I know that many will disagree but if you join something that makes you uncomfortable then you are setting yourself up for failure. For example, if you are uncomfortable at the prospect of cold calling then sales wouldn't be for you. However, once you do find something that you enjoy then you will be more willing to step out of your comfort zone.
Set attainable goals. Start with one project that is proven to earn money and stay with it until you consistently earn five dollars a day. Once you are consistently earning five dollars a day move on to another project.
Keep older projects updated. You may have several niche blogs each earning $5.00 a day but you still need to update them. While most of your attention is going to be on your current projects you want to schedule a little time each week maintaining your past projects.
Don't give up. Residual income takes time to build. For example, if you write for eHow you may start by earning a pennies a day. However, as you keep writing and build a nice library of how-to articles you may find that after a while those pennies start turning into dollars.
