How to Earn Extra Part Time Income (4 Steps)
Write web content for sites (like eHow) that pay residual passive income. See link to my article 'How to Make Money Writing eHow Articles' in the resources section below. I consistently earn $200 per month from my bank of 125 eHow articles. I haven't written any articles for the past several months, so this income has been entirely passive after the initial effort of writing each article. For immediate cash, write for websites (like textbroker.com) that pay you a one-time sum for each article you complete. Most of these sites pay at least twice per month. See resources section below for a link to a comprehensive listing of sites that pay you to write.Other ways to earn extra part time income online include taking surveys, posting in forums, and answering questions for a website like chacha.com. I don't have personal experience with these means of generating income. I find that writing is more enjoyable and more lucrative, but many people earn extra cash from these sources.
Sell clothing and accessories that you no longer need. You can do this by selling items at online auction or networking sites. You can also take gently used brand name clothing to a consignment shop, especially children's clothes. I earn extra money by scouring local thrift stores and yard sales for brand name children's clothing, then selling it on consignment for a profit. I live near a thrift store that sells clothing and textiles for a minimal by-the-pound price. I've bought items there for pennies that I've later sold online or on consignment at a significant profit.
Sell scrap gold jewelry. You might have gold earrings that are missing a mate, broken pieces of jewelry, or other mismatched or miscellaneous gold items. In many cases, these items would just get thrown away. Earn extra part time income by selling these to a dealer that buys precious metals. See resources section below for a link to my article on how to determine the value of scrap gold.
Sell your plasma. Plasma donation centers are regulated by state and federal government, and are required to use safe, sterile equipment. If you choose to earn extra part time income by selling your plasma, make sure you are in good health, free of communicable diseases, and that you meet all of the restrictions and requirements per the health screening questionnaire you will be asked to take when you first donate.

How to Earn L.E.E.D. Certification as a Contractor
Determine which LEED accredited professional (LEED AP) certification suits your skills and career. All AP exams come in two parts: the first focusing on the Green Associate material and the second focusing on the specialization. Select between Building Design and Construction for architects, Interior Design and Construction for designers, Homes for home builders, Operations and Maintenance for those maintaining existing buildings, or Neighborhood Development for those who design and develop neighborhoods. Contractors starting out in the field may elect to take the Green Associate and then select an accredited professional exam in the future.

Document work experience and education to qualify to take the exam. To sit for the LEED AP exam, the applicant needs to document work experience that includes involvement on a project registered or certified for LEED. Applicants also need to submit to an audit and agree to the appeals process and certificate maintenance. Contractors starting out in the field without work experience can qualify to take the Green Associate exam by completing an educational course that covers green building practices and then sit for specific AP exams after gaining more work experience.

Apply for the exam through logging into the Green Building Certification Institute website. Enter your personal information. Credentials and experience on the website. Ensure that you enter your name exactly as it appears on your identification that you plan to use at the exam center. Double check to ensure you are applying for the correct exam, and upload your required attestation documents in the form of an image. For Accredited Professional exams, ensure that the project submitted is a LEED certified project. Select the Prometric testing facility to take the exam. Be prepared to pay for the non-refundable exam fee at this time.

Review the LEED AP specific course materials available from the U.S. Green Building Council to ensure that you are prepared for the exam. Use the practice questions to identify areas to study. A variety of courses are available through the U.S. Green Building Council or through approved training facilities to help you prepare for the exam.

Take the closed-book exam at the Prometric testing facility that you selected during registration. Prometric recommends arriving at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled testing time. At the end of the two-hour exam, a preliminary score will be shown, indicating if you have passed. The LEED certificate will be mailed to the address you provided during registration.

How to Become a Flight Attendant in South Africa
Do research on the major airlines that hire flight attendants from South Africa. Decide whether you want to be based in South Africa, in which case you'd want to research flight attendant careers for South African based airlines. If you want to be overseas, research airlines that hire South African flight attendants, such as Emirates and Qatar airlines.
Go to your airline's website to learn the basic screening requirements for flight attendants. The South Africa-based Comair Limited, for example, requires that flight attendants be no taller than 1,6 m (5'11''), have South African nationality, and are at least 20 years old.
Note the educational and experience-related requirements for flight attendants in South Africa. For example, Conair requires its flight attendants to have at least two years of customer-service experience, as well as a grade 12 certificate (also called a matric).
Attend your job interview, if you have been selected for an interview. Expect to attend an interview session with as many as 200 other applicants. During your interview, you will complete not only an one-to-one interview with a recruiter but a group interview, during which you are evaluated for your interaction skills.
Wait for notification that you have been accepted into a flight attendant training program. If so, be proud of yourself because fewer than 10% of applicants are accepted into South African flight-attendant programs. Prepare to travel to your airline's flight training center to begin flight-attendant training.
Complete a rigorous, 4 to 6 week paid training program (known as a Safety & Emergencies Procedures program) at your airline's training center. Throughout this program, you will complete written exams as well as train on flights with a supervisor. You will be evaluated on your customer-service skills, first-aid skills, fire-fighting skills, swimming ability, and evacuation skills.
Receive your Civil Aviation Authorites (CAA) license after completing your program. You are now a licensed flight attendant and can start your career, albeit on a probationary basis (a 6 to 8 week period during which you will be evaluated by senior cabin-crew members).

How to Earn a PhD in Three Years
Ask your academic department head or advisor for a list of program requirements as soon as you are admitted. Departments will typically map out a program of study when students finish their first year of coursework, but may be willing to do so sooner if you have a specific study interest. Ask your department how many years they expect the program to take. Some departments may expect students to spend a minimum of 5 years in a program and will have significant roadblocks for doing the program any faster.
Ask about applying relevant courses from your previous educational experience. If you have a master's degree in the same area, ask about opportunities to exempt or advance coursework in the PhD program.
Enroll in coursework full-time and avoid a demanding full-time or part-time job. Get an assistantship if you can, which will usually pay part-time wages and give you a tuition waiver.
Select a focused topic for your dissertation research by the end of your first year of coursework at the latest. Don't wait until you are finished with your coursework to start formulating research ideas.
Begin your dissertation research in your second year of coursework rather than waiting until you are finished. You don't need to do all of the research at this time, but you can test out preliminary topics and methods.
Continue coursework or research during the summers. Get as much coursework done during the summer as possible, or use the summer months to start an ongoing research project for your dissertation.
Avoid changing the focus of your coursework or dissertation after the first year.
Set a rigorous timeline for yourself when writing your dissertation, and check in with your advisor regularly to submit portions of writing for approval to make sure you are on the right track.
Be informed about your university's exit requirements to ensure that you follow proper procedures to have your graduation processed on time. It's easy to get caught up working in a dissertation and overlook graduation materials that need to be submitted by a certain deadline.

How to Get a Job Telemarketing From Home
Apply at a telemarketing company's website such as Liveops. The application process varies by company but the first step is usually to fill out a standard form providing general information about yourself. You will be asked about your previous experience, but telemarketing companies don't seem to require it.
Authorize a background check. This is almost always required and some companies charge a fee for it. A credit check also may be required on rare occasions.
Perform a voice test. Telemarketing companies will want to know what you sound like over the telephone. Practice your script and get someone to give you blunt criticism. You also may need to eliminate any accent or dialect that you have.
Get qualified on multiple projects within each company. Telemarketing companies usually handle more than one project available and multiple certifications will increase your earning potential. You also may need to work several different projects to find one you enjoy.
Explore opportunities with many different companies. Telemarketing work has a high turnover rate and you don't want to depend on any single company or project for your income.
