How to Earn a Teaching Certification With an Associate Degree
Begin the application process a few months before the school year starts. Processing of paperwork can take awhile, and you want to avoid delays, if possible.
Contact your state's Department of Education or visit their website. Some states require early childhood teachers to have a license; others require teachers to be certified with a CDA (child development associate) credential. Get a complete list of guidelines, including information about assessment exams you may have to take.
Submit your college transcript to the state department. It will be evaluated for compliance with educational requirements. A certificate will be mailed to you. It will list grade areas in which you are eligible to teach, as well as the time period the certification is valid and date(s) of renewal.

How to Earn L.E.E.D. Certification as a Contractor
Determine which LEED accredited professional (LEED AP) certification suits your skills and career. All AP exams come in two parts: the first focusing on the Green Associate material and the second focusing on the specialization. Select between Building Design and Construction for architects, Interior Design and Construction for designers, Homes for home builders, Operations and Maintenance for those maintaining existing buildings, or Neighborhood Development for those who design and develop neighborhoods. Contractors starting out in the field may elect to take the Green Associate and then select an accredited professional exam in the future.

Document work experience and education to qualify to take the exam. To sit for the LEED AP exam, the applicant needs to document work experience that includes involvement on a project registered or certified for LEED. Applicants also need to submit to an audit and agree to the appeals process and certificate maintenance. Contractors starting out in the field without work experience can qualify to take the Green Associate exam by completing an educational course that covers green building practices and then sit for specific AP exams after gaining more work experience.

Apply for the exam through logging into the Green Building Certification Institute website. Enter your personal information. Credentials and experience on the website. Ensure that you enter your name exactly as it appears on your identification that you plan to use at the exam center. Double check to ensure you are applying for the correct exam, and upload your required attestation documents in the form of an image. For Accredited Professional exams, ensure that the project submitted is a LEED certified project. Select the Prometric testing facility to take the exam. Be prepared to pay for the non-refundable exam fee at this time.

Review the LEED AP specific course materials available from the U.S. Green Building Council to ensure that you are prepared for the exam. Use the practice questions to identify areas to study. A variety of courses are available through the U.S. Green Building Council or through approved training facilities to help you prepare for the exam.

Take the closed-book exam at the Prometric testing facility that you selected during registration. Prometric recommends arriving at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled testing time. At the end of the two-hour exam, a preliminary score will be shown, indicating if you have passed. The LEED certificate will be mailed to the address you provided during registration.

Register at the site. Registering is usually necessary to gain access to the continuing education area and by registering you ensure your name is printed on the certificate of completion.
Read the education presentation carefully. Think of key points and how the article could be summarized. Don't prepare too much though; most sites allow the user to retake the test if they don't pass the first time.
Most presentations require an evaluation or a post test. Submit the evaluation or pass the post test and print out your certificate or wait for the certificate to be mailed, if applicable.

How to Become a Fashion Director
Earn your high school diploma or GED equivalent to qualify for admittance in to a college or university. High school students that are aspiring fashion directors should take home economics and communication courses prior to graduating.
Enroll in a two-year associate's degree or four-year bachelor's degree program. Students may also choose to earn their associate's degrees prior to enrolling in bachelor's programs, though it is not necessary. Most fashion directors earn a bachelor's degree. Some fashion-focused majors include fashion marketing, fashion design, fashion management and fashion merchandising. Those with a minor in a business-related field are projected to have the most job opportunities, according to the Education Portal website.
Look for internship opportunities through the school's fashion program or local fashion media offices, as well as the Internet. An internship gives you a foot in the door of the fashion industry, as well as real life work experience. Students learn necessary on-the-job skills through internships, giving them an edge when applying for employment as a fashion director. Contacts made during an internship might also lead to potential employment. You can intern while you are still in school, or after you graduate.
Earn a master's degree in a fashion-related field. Although a master's degree is not required to be a successful fashion director, it will create more career and advancement opportunities. You can also specialize in a specific area of fashion, including fashion and film, sustainable fashion or fashion journalism.
Create a resume that lists your internship and other work experience, your fashion education history, your skills related to fashion director jobs and any awards or achievements you have earned in the fashion industry. Fashion directors should have skills that include attention to detail, the ability to create a look for a model or mannequin, working well with marketing and sales professionals, and effective leadership skills to give direction and make decisions about a fashion line or company.
Send your resume to fashion houses, designers, fashion event planners and all of the contacts you made during your internship, education and other networking events. Search job postings online and in newspapers or magazines. Attend fashion events and introduce yourself to as many people as possible to learn about job openings.

How to Earn a Second Associate's Degree
Meet with an academic advisor at your current college, if you are already a student, or at the school you wish to attend. Discuss such options as courses of study and financial aid, particularly if you are finishing up one associate's degree and would like to earn another at the same school.
Speak to the department chair of the program in which you would like to earn your second associate's degree. Bring transcripts of your current and previous course work. You may find that general education classes such as math and English will transfer so you won't have to take them again, allowing you to earn your second associate's degree more quickly than your first.
Apply for the program in which you want to earn your second associate's degree. Provide all necessary forms, test scores, transcripts, references and other documentation required by the school.
Fill out all financial aid paperwork if you plan to seek loans, grants or scholarships. You may find that you qualify for less financial aid than you did before earning your first associate's degree, which is important if finances are a consideration. Discuss your options with a school financial aid officer.
Attend the classes you need to complete your second associate's. Study hard, pass the courses and turn in all required graduation paperwork.
