How Do I Make Money Scrapping Circuit Boards?
Locate metal recyclers and refineries in your area. You can search online or contact your local department of public works to find out if they know of any circuit board buyers in your area. Create a list that includes the name, address and preferred contact method (phone, email or personal visit) for each potential buyer.
Contact each recycling company and refinery local to you. Find out how much they pay and what their requirements are. Some buyers will only accept the circuit board itself, while others will take whole computers and pay you extra for the other computer parts.
Make a list of each buyer along with the prices they pay and their requirements.
Search local ads such as Craigslist, for free computers that you can pick up and recycle for money.
Place an ad on free ad boards to let your community know that you will pick up their old computers for free. If you can afford it, you could also take out an ad in the local paper.
Check the metal prices regularly. Sites such as Precious Metals Refined and RECYCLENET post the daily metal prices in their 'Markets at a Glance' section. By learning the trends, you know when the buyers will be paying more.
Look outside of your local area if there are no refineries and recyclers nearby. Companies such as Gazelle purchase circuit boards through an online website. They even pay for the shipping and handling and will even send you boxes for shipping.
Join online or local groups that discuss circuit board recycling trends. There you will have a group of peers that can provide some tips and pointers that will help you in your circuit board scrapping business.

How to Make Money by Telephone
Become an independent contractor for a direct sales company such as Avon or Mary Kay. As an independent contractor, you can work from home using the telephone to reach new and existing customers.
Set up in-house product demonstrations or arrange meetings with potential buyers. Contact a potential buyer to schedule the demonstration, and answer any preliminary questions, such as what to expect during the demonstration and how orders are placed.
Print business cards and other marketing materials once profitability is high. Business cards and other marketing materials allow you to spread the word about your products to potential customers. Include contact information and hours of operation to avoid unwanted early-morning and late-night calls.
Follow up on all completed orders. Establish a rapport with your consumer base with good follow-up. Ask each customer to rate his level of customer satisfaction, and ask if you can follow up in the future with special promotions. Explain that all communication will take place over the phone and that there is no commitment to buy.
Ask customers to provide specific instructions for how follow-up communication is to be conducted. For example, one customer may request follow-up communication by phone within one month after the purchase date, while another may request no follow-up communication at all.
Replenish your inventory. Contact your distributor to place a phone order for new inventory. Consider your current rate of profit before placing a new order.

How to Make Money Buying Selling Used Cars (5 Steps)
Search your local area for used cars in working condition. Craigslist, eBay and the classified section of the newspaper often list cars 'for sale by owner,' but also look for cars in the area with sale information posted on the windows.
Check the sale price of each car against the prices for similar cars at local used car lots or in car buyer's guides like Edmunds or the Kelley Blue Book. Take into account the car's current condition. Contact the buyer to inspect the car in person if he is selling it for as much as or less than it's worth.
Inspect the car for damage by looking over its exterior and interior and taking it for a test drive. Buy the car if there's minimal wear, or if you can fix any of the damage with the help of a car repair manual. Make sure that the repairs won't make the car cost more than you can reasonably sell it for.
Make the car appealing to potential buyers. Fix anything that's broken, wash the exterior and vacuum and polish the inside to make it appear like new. Don't attempt to deceive anyone about the car's age, but make it a less important factor in the buyer's mind.
Advertise the car in local classified ads, and on sites like eBay and Craigslist. State the color, make, model and year, and include photos to show the car's condition. List a sale price more than what you paid for the car, including repairs and cleaning, in order to make a profit.
