How to Earn Money on a Small Acreage (5 Steps)
Create a garden and sell the produce at a local Farmer's Market, to local restaurants, or straight from your home. This idea does require lots of hard work and extra time, but it's a good alternative for someone who already works from home or has recently lost a job. It may take several years to create a successful crop, but if you love the outdoors, this can be a rewarding endeavor.
Rent farm land out to local farmers. There are numerous ways that you can rent this land out to be farmed. You can charge a flat rental fee (per year), or rent and royalties on earnings from crops produced on your parcel of land, or any other agreement that suits both you and the other party. You will need to have a contract in place, so you may want the services of a lawyer. Once you have a template contract, however, you can use it multiple times.
Convert the land into a lot for a mobile home. Depending on your budget, you could even purchase a mobile home, so that you can earn money renting the land and mobile home. This, of course, can get costly if you have to install plumbing, sewer, water sources, and so on, so it will take lots of planning and legwork. Weigh the cost against the potential income for years to come, and also factor in whether you really want to be a landlord or not.
Start a Christmas tree farm. The income will not be immediate, and it may take a considerable amount of cash to get it started, but if you plan accordingly and replant trees as the older ones are taken down, you can have income for decades to come!
Take land that is aesthetically pleasing and turn it into a prime location for small outdoor weddings. If your budget allows and there is space to do so, construct a shelter with fireplaces and grills for outdoor parties. You may also want to turn a portion of the land into a parking lot. This endeavor will require some regular maintenance, landscaping, and advertising costs. In addition, you will need to know zoning laws, consider where the land is located, carry insurance, and utilize an event contract.

How to Sell on Half.com and Make Money (6 Steps)
Go to half.com and register. Half.com is owned by eBay.com. Ebay is an auction site while half.com is straight sales for a pre-set price. The buyer pays for shipping. They automatically get media mail (USPS.com) unless you allow them to request (and pay for) faster shipping. You have to mail the media shipping requests within 5 days of selling. If you don't have time to go to the post office daily do not offer faster shipping. If you do not have time to ship for periods of time you can suspend your sales with a 'vacation' button which stops your inventory from being shown. When you want to resume just click the 'back from vacation' button.
You have to register a debit or credit card with your login to prove you are an adult. You register your checking account number and routing so that half.com can automatically pay your earnings every month into your checking account. Half.com deducts their fee from your sales before the deposit. They have an accounting page for you to view that states how much the book sold for, minus their fee, plus the shipping fee and gives a total. They sell only for the price you set. The next step shows you how this works.
To list a book, video or tape: type the name of the book in the search box at the top of the page. It will take you to the others of that book that are for sale. Make sure you select the correct format (cd or book, hard or soft cover). Look at the prices and conditions others have listed. To sell yours look in the upper right corner of the screen and find SELL YOUR STUFF and click. When you are doing your listing there is a link to click telling you the condition rules. For instance, 'Like new' good enough to give for a gift. 'Acceptable' some damage but all pages intact. There is a comments section where you can write the exact condition of your book such as 'slight water damage to cover'. There is a box to click down for book conditions.
The last step is a section that shows the range of what others are selling the book for and how much the average sell price is AND how much the last one sold for. Do not over price your book or you won't sell it. Then you click submit.
It takes about 15 minutes for your listing to show up so be patient and don't list it twice unless you have two copies. There is a MANAGE YOUR INVENTORY tab on the right hand side of the screen. In this section you can delete, suspend, or edit your listing. Look over the tabs at the top and bottom. You can edit prices and then hit submit. If you don't have the book anymore delete it.
Leave feedback for those who buy so they will leave feedback for you. This will give your buyers more confidence. Feedback shows up as the number next to your login name such as BOOKSELLER(73) means bookseller has had 73 positive feedback ratings. If you click on the 73 it will show you the comments everyone left. It will also show if there were negatives. There usually is a few but if it is more than 5% negatives that seller is doing something wrong. Good luck and happy selling. Write with questions and I will try to help you.

How to Make Quick Money by Selling the Stuff in Your House
The first step in making money selling your 'junk' is to decide what it is you want to sell. Just to scratch the surface, consider selling clothing, sports equipment, furniture, collectibles, designer items, DVDs, electronics, video games, appliances, toys, books, home goods, etc.
It is very important that the items you choose to sell are in clean, working condition. Be sure to fully inspect and clean everything. Doing so will not only increase the amount of money you get for the item, but it will prevent conflicts with buyers.
Now that you've determined what you have to sell, it's time to estimate how much the re-sell value of each item will be. This is an important step because it will help you choose how and where you will sell it. For example, you would be more likely to sell a valuable trading card on eBay than at a yard sale because you will make more on eBay with such an item. I recommend making a list of the items you have to sell. Next to the name of each item on your list, jot down what your guess on the resale value of the item is. Consider that gently used items like clothing, toys, home goods, etc will most often sell at about 1/3 of their original price. If you're unsure of what an item would sell for, head over to eBay.com and do a search for 'completed items' to see what items like yours have sold for in the past. Other places to search for resale value would be amazon.com and of course, Google.
Next you need to be aware of your options as to where to sell. The first, and possibly most successful option, is online. You are reaching more buyers online, and they are looking for exactly what you have. Selling items like collectibles, name brand clothing/bags/etc, electronics, DVDs, video games, baby gear, toys and more online can bring in top money. Two of the best places for selling online are eBay.com and craigslist.org. eBay charges a small listing fee and then a final value fee once the item sells. While this may seem like a downfall, it should be considered that eBay is offering a marketplace with the highest amount of traffic and highest potential for sales and value. In addition, eBay offers great security measures to not only ensure a more successful transaction. eBay also allows for the buyers to decide an items worth. You set a minimum bid and you will often be pleased to see the buyers will pay quite a bit more than your minimum. Craigslist is completely free and perhaps a better choice for large items like furniture and vehicles. Craigslist offers fewer security measures, so it is important that you protect yourself from fraudulent buyers. Craigslist will offer a higher amount of local buyers. Selling locally is beneficial because your buyers don't have to pay shipping charges and you don't have to figure out how to ship. I recommend taking advantage of the free membership for both of these sites and then reading what they have to offer. The more familiar you are with the sites, the more confident you will be in listing your items for sale there.
Another option for selling your items is through direct selling in local classified ads. This is effective for large items like furniture, cars/trucks, lawn equipments, etc. Set your price at about 1/3 to 1/2 of the price you paid for the item originally. Consider it's condition when deciding the price. If there are not many prospects for your items within the first few days, you should consider lowering your price. When selling through classified ads, please be sure to consider safety. Meet the buyer in a public location if possible. If not possible, be sure you have family or friends present when the buyer arrives to pay for and pick up the item.
You can also consider selling your items to your local consignment stores. Consignment stores are a great way to sell furniture, art, children's items, and sporting goods. You can expect the store owners to either pay you for the item upfront, or once the item sells. You will most likely be offered about 40% to 60% of what the items sells for in the consignment store. If they offer you less than what you think is fair, don't be afraid to decline the offer and take the item elsewhere.
There will always be yard sales! These are fantastic for household items, children's toys and clothing, kitchen gadgets, lawn supplies, crafting, etc. While you might price your items at about 25% of what you paid for the item, be prepared to encounter bargain shoppers asking for a price reduction. This commonly takes another 5-10% off your asking price. A great way to spice up your yard sale and the money you make is to offer baked goods and small cups of lemonade or iced tea. Try organizing your items by theme and be sure they are clean and presented with care. If it is thrown out front like it's junk, then people will want to pay for junk. It if is placed out there like an item of value, people will expect to pay for an item of value.
If you have loads of children's items to sell, be sure to ask around town about local children's consignment sales run by churches and other organizations. These sales are a great way to sell anything and everything baby, child, teen and maternity related. You will receive 50% to 70% of what your items sells for and the other percent goes towards the church and/or organization. You get to decide what the asking price is on the items, and you also get to pick up the items that do not sell or opt to donate them. A check is picked up or mailed to you at the end of the sale. So the perks here are many; you tag in the comfort of your home, you choose the price, part is donated to a good cause, you get back what doesn't sell, you're paid by a trustworthy location, etc. I highly recommend that my fellow mothers take advantage of these sales.

How to Make $50
Sign up for several of the reputable paid survey sites. For example, I currently use Opinion Outpost, Survey Savvy, LIghtspeed Panel, Esearch.com and Global Test Market to make money at home. These are just a couple of examples. There are several reputable sites that you can sign up for to earn money by taking online surveys. Keep in mind that the reputable sites will not charge you any fee to join.
Fill out the demographic profiles for each of the sites that you sign up for. This may take you some time, but you will be invited to take a larger number of surveys for money from your sites. Make sure to add the survey site e-mail addresses to your e-mail address book, so that your survey invitations do not end up in your spam folder.
Wait for your survey invites to come in via your e-mail address. You can also log in to many of the sites to check for available paid surveys yourself. If you want to capitalize on this easy way to make money, you'll need to take the better paying surveys as soon as they come out, as these fill up quickly. Don't expect to qualify for all of the paid surveys; you will only qualify for a portion of them. Each of the surveys is likely looking for a different type of respondent or group of respondents.
Earn money as you qualify for and complete online surveys. Some survey companies give you your incentive right after taking the paid surveys, while with others you'll have to wait several weeks. As long as you stick to the reputable survey companies, you will get paid when you qualify and complete a survey. Check into each sites payment policies and procedures. Enjoy this way to make easy money. Consider putting a portion of your monthly earnings into your savings account or emergency fund.

How to Earn a Finders Fee
Establish an understanding with your client about how you will be paid. It is vital that you have a signed contract detailing these arrangements because you get paid after the deal closes, so clients often dispute the value of your services when they no longer need them. Sometimes industry law requires a license to charge a finder's fee, such as when you introduce an investor. In those cases you will need to be paid as a consultant rather than a finder.
Gather your facts. What exactly does your client need in terms of customers, business projects or investment? If you expect to be paid for your efforts, you must provide a professional service. That includes pre-qualifying any potential customers, business deals or investors before you introduce them to your client.
Prepare your marketing materials. Sometimes your client will have brochures or business plans for you to use in marketing, but often you will need to create your own, which you tailor specifically to the requirements of your business or investor contacts.
Show the deal to your contacts. Find out exactly what they like about the deal and what they would prefer to see. Every bit of information you can gather about the preferences of both sides of the deal will increase your chances of a successful close.
Close the deal. Often closing the deal takes the most time since each side will jockey for the best terms. You will earn your fee if you can maintain control and bring the deal to a quick and mutually pleasing close.

How to Earn Back Good Credit
Pay off any debts you have now. Call up each one you have a debt with, whether they are collection agencies or the business you owe the money to. Get all of your bills together and figure out how much you can pay each one per month. Call each one and tell them how much you can pay each month. They will set you up with a payment plan and send you a bill each month for your new monthly payment. Pay the bills as soon as they come in every month.
Obtain a credit card for people with bad credit (see Resources below). You will have to pay an annual fee and a fee to get the credit card started. This may seem frivolous at first, but this may be the only way you can get a credit card. Once you have paid the annual fee and any other fees associated with this new credit card, you can start charging, but do so carefully--charge a small amount (an amount you know you can pay off each month). When the bill comes in, pay your entire balance off, not just the minimum payments.
Pay more money on your debts when you can. The only way to keep the bills out of collections is to call the billing department and set up a payment plan, and follow through by paying the agreed-upon payment every month when the bill comes in. If, for any reason, you are not able to make the payment, call as soon as possible to sort something out.
Sign up with an agency that will track your credit for you. Privacy Matters can track your credit report for you for a low monthly fee. It will alert you every time something changes with your credit report. This will ensure that you are aware of everything going on with your credit (see Resources below)
Limit how much you allow people to access your credit report. Anytime you apply for any type of credit (loans, credit cards, gas cards, department store cards) you are allowing them to access your credit report. This will show up on your credit report, and the more people you have accessing your credit report, the worse it looks.

How to Make Money With Prepaid Cards
Examine the cardholder agreement carefully. Avoid buying prepaid cads from retail locations that don't provide you with a detailed contract. Most of the better prepaid cards offer no transaction fees, free ATM usage and other perks. The worst cards charge money on every transaction, charge large ATM fees, have a substantial activation fee and charge you even more money if you attempt to make a transaction that is too large for the card balance to cover.
Consider using a prepaid debit card as a means to borrow money from a credit card account without paying cash advance fees. Purchase a prepaid card with another credit card and then take the prepaid card to an ATM and withdraw the funds. Using this method, you can borrow cash at low rates, particularly if the credit card being used is in a 0% introductory period.
Avoid paying overdraft fees when using a prepaid debit card. If you are coming close to the card limit, you can empty out the account only with an exact purchase. One way to accomplish this is to buy an item from a store paying only part of it in cash and use the card for the remainder. For example, if you had $2 left on a prepaid card, you could select a $5 item from the store, pay $3 in cash and then use the card to pay the remaining $2.
Collect any cash back or rewards points that you may have earned by using the prepaid card and invest them into purchasing new cards. This will earn you a small profit so long as you carefully manage your fees and avoid incurring any penalties. There is no credit check for purchasing most prepaid cards, so you can attain as many of them as you like.
