How to Make Money at Home Using Web Design (8 Steps)
Open a web hosting account for your business. Choose an account type that allows you to host several sites on one account, since you'll need to do this to design websites for companies.
Buy a web domain for your business. Choose a professional name for the domain that clearly states who you are or that you are a web designer. For example, choose 'robsmithwebdesign.com' or 'wonderfulwebdesigns.com,' not 'smithsspectacularsite.com.'
Put your web design skills to work making your website look professional and informative of the services you provide. Refer to web design manuals to learn the most up-to-date skills to impress potential clients.
Contact businesses in your area that don't currently have websites to convince them of the value of an Internet presence, namely that they can access more potential customers. Refer them to your website to show them what you can do.
Estimate how long it would take you to design a website for the company, according to what the client requests. If you'll also have to maintain the website, estimate how much time it will take you to do that each month. Determine a price for your services based on this and quote it to the client. Require a portion of your fee upfront to protect yourself in the event that the client refuses to pay you for the website when you finish.
Contact your web hosting company to set up a website for the client on your account. Choose a domain name that the company agrees to and that won't confuse the public as to whose website it is. (For example, avoid a domain like 'titostacos.com' for Tito's Mexican Restaurant if there is a local restaurant called Tito's Tacos.) Set up login information for this website that is different from your main website to allow the client to log in, if necessary.
Design the website according to the client's requests, checking in as you work to make sure that you're going in the right direction. Do as much work as possible to prevent confusion on the client's part when you turn the website over to him. For example, install an online store with categories already in place in case your client doesn't know how to make store categories.
Deliver the website login information to your client, along with instructions for use. Collect the remainder of your payment. If you'll be maintaining the website for the client, provide a written notice of how much money he will owe you each month for your services.

How to Set Up a Website Selling Someone Else's Products
Sign up for a web hosting service and purchase a domain name to establish your website. You can create the website using a free template from your service or by purchasing an HTML editing program such as Adobe Dreamweaver or Microsoft Frontpage.
Sign up for an online affiliate program (see 'Resources' for a list of programs). Make sure that the service you choose is a reputable business according to Better Business Bureau records.
Browse the various clients who have products or services available for sale through the affiliate service and select the ones that you feel you can promote effectively on your website. The client must approve you based on your website, so make sure that your website is professional and focused on the type of product you want to sell on the client's behalf.
Retrieve affiliate links from the client (available from your affiliate services account dashboard) and add the links on your web pages. The links you add should be naturally placed throughout your website's content to encourage the reader to click the link and evaluate the product or service. For instance, if you are promoting a client's world travel book, you can write an article about your recent travels and then provide the link where the reader can purchase the book and read more about traveling around the world.
Promote your website to your friends, family, and mailing list. Study search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to help get your website better ranking on search engines (see 'Resources' for a resource on SEO concepts). The more traffic to your website, the higher the chance that you will actually sell products.
Retrieve payments for selling these products from the client via the online affiliate service. You may receive a check in the mail or a direct deposit on a regular basis.

How to Become a Personal Trainer in California
Study kinesiology, anatomy and exercise physiology. Personal trainers need to understand how the body moves and responds to exercise to put together an effective fitness program. Personal trainers should consider becoming certified in CPR and first aid in case of an emergency.
Earn a nationally recognized certification. California personal trainers who have a certification from a nationally recognized fitness organization will have more credibility with clients. Consider earning a certification from the American Council on Exercise or the National Academy of Sports Medicine. An exam must be passed to earn certifications from either agency.
Start at a large gym to gain clients. Working at a gym as a trainer can allow you to meet prospective clients and gain experience as a trainer. Apply at large California gyms such as 24 Hour Fitness, Bally Total Fitness and California Family Fitness.
Put together a mobile gym. California is home to many celebrities who are pressed for time and like their privacy. To gain high profile clients, consider putting together a gym you can take to a client's home. Select aerobic equipment such as jump ropes, boxing gloves, exercise balls, free weights, an exercise bar and mini trampoline. All equipment should be easily transportable to a client's home or office for a total body workout.
Learn all the outdoor locations in your area that are good spots for a workout. California is known for its sunshine. Exercising outdoors is one option Californians may enjoy. For example, in southern California Venice beach is a good exercise spot because you can run on the beach, lift weights at the outdoor gym and rollerblade on the paved path.

How to Make Quick Money As a Teenager
Advertise your babysitting services. Many working parents are often in need of someone to care for their children for a few hours and will pay for your services in cash at the end of your shift. You can post flyers in your neighborhood or advertise in local newspapers.
Offer to do yard work. Many people either do not have the time to care for their grass and plants or do not enjoy the work. Consider offering your services to your neighbors on a weekly basis. You may need equipment such as a mower, rake and shovel if your clients do not have these items.
Sell items you no longer need or use on Ebay. You can also approach your neighbors and offer to help them sell their unwanted items on Ebay for a fee or for a percentage of the sale price.
Make and sell crafts. If you enjoy crafts, you can sell the items you make to friends, school mates and neighbors or online at websites such as Etsy and Ebay. Popular craft items include jewelry, t-shirts and knitted or crocheted products.
Walk dogs. Some dog owners do not have the time to walk their dogs and often need someone to help when they are away. You can charge for your services on an hourly basis. You can also offer lodging and care for the pet when the owner has to travel.
Offer tutoring services. If you are strong in subjects such as maths and science, you could tutor children for a set fee per hour.
Make backgrounds for MySpace and Twitter accounts. Many members of these popular social networking websites want personalized backgrounds instead of the standard sets that the websites offer. If you have design or graphics skills, you can provide this service and have your clients pay you when you deliver a finished project. Consider setting up a website to advertise your services and a Paypal account to receive payments.

How to Earn an Income on the Internet
Calculate how much money you need to make. Add up all your bills and the typical amount you spend on food, gas and other items in a month to figure the minimum you need to make each month. Don't forget to account for self employment taxes.
Open a PayPal account, since this is how many companies prefer to do business over the Internet. All you need is an email address and a bank account to sign up. PayPal protects both parties in a transaction by keeping bank account information private.
Search for clients who are hiring freelance writers and apply to provide work for them. Craiglist, Freelance Writing Gigs and Online Writing Jobs list freelance jobs, so start your search there. Keep a variety of clients to protect your income in case you can't find more work with one of your clients.
Sell items through an online marketplace like Craigslist, eBay or Amazon. You can find items to sell in your own home, or you can buy them from yard sales and thrift stores and sell them for a higher price. Anything from antiques to electronics adapters to left or right shoes sells online, so use your imagination.
Apply to work as a telecommuter. More companies are allowing employees to work from home as customer service representatives and support staff, so check sites like Craigslist, Indeed and Simply Hired for openings. While you do work from home in these positions, your hours may not be as flexible as if you work as a freelance writer or online vendor.

How to Run Market America

Talk with friends, family, neighbors, and those in your other social circles to explain the basics of your new business and attract some clients.
You should consider using the Internet to advertise your Market America business and attract new customers. The limitless reach of the Internet, combined with the lack of down time, means that your online advertising can work throughout the day and night. Solicit additional purchases from previous customers through email marketing campaigns. Use an autoresponder program to send new Market America advertisements and marketing pieces to your customer base in an effort to gain repeat business and referrals to other prospects.
Recruit new Market America business owners. Send additional material about the business opportunity to repeat customers, and discuss the opportunity with those friends and family members who have the right personality and position to succeed in network marketing.
