How to Earn Money Grading Tests Online
Start by reviewing your credentials. If you are a certified teacher you can easily apply to grade tests. If you hold a bachelor's degree in a specific subject you can also apply to grade tests. Make sure that you have your transcript handy. A good transcript should list all your courses.
Once you've determined if you have the right credentials you can start apply for jobs. Look for jobs grading test papers in schools. Some school districts will hire people specifically to grade papers during busy academic periods. A good time to apply to grade tests is during the winter and late spring.
Apply online. There are several different companies that allow you grade papers at home online. The Educational Testing Service and Pearson Educational Measurement both hire people to score tests papers at home. They require at least a bachelor's degree as well as possible teaching experience for many positions.
Submit an application. Applications to score tests can be found at the ETS website as well as the Pearson website. Each company will let you apply online. Make sure you have all parts of the application filled out correctly. Each part of the application form should be correctly filled out. Make sure to mention any relevant credentials such as teaching certifications or a master's degree in a specific academic subject.
Go through training and pass certification exams. In order to get hired by Pearson or ETS you will need to pass certification exams and go through training. Training consists of learning how to grade tests properly. You can read materials online before you start. Once you have worked on scoring materials you will be permitted to take a test in order to score tests papers online. Grading tests papers online can earn you from ten dollars an hour to up to thirty dollars or more. Scoring test papers for academic companies can also help you sharpen your academic reading and writing skills.

How to Get an RN Degree Online (5 Steps)
Inquire about your state's nursing requirements. If you are interested in earning an RN degree online, you should first contact your local state nursing board to find out the specific requirements needed to become a registered nurse. The nursing board can provide you with helpful information on approved online nursing programs, along with details about course requirements and licensure information for the state in which you reside (see Resources below).
Research the different online nursing programs. There is an abundance of information on the Internet about online RN programs (see Resources below). You should take time to review the admission criteria and program requirements for each college that you are interested in applying to. Be sure to speak with an admissions representative or enrollment counselor at those particular schools if you have additional questions about their nursing programs.
Enroll in the appropriate courses. Once you are accepted into a nursing program, you can begin taking classes that are needed to earn an RN degree online. Your academic counselor or adviser can tell you the specific courses that you need to become an RN. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the nursing program curriculum varies per state, but more than likely you will need to take and pass the following courses: anatomy, physiology, chemistry, nutrition, microbiology, general psychology (and other behavioral science courses) and nursing courses. You must also complete the required core curriculum courses (such as history, math and English composition), along with electives.
Complete the required internship. Although you are earning your degree through an online program, you must still complete a supervised clinical internship at an appropriate hospital or medical facility. The internship normally takes one to two years to finish (depending on your state's guidelines), and you should work as an intern in the area that is related to your interests and goals (such as pediatrics, maternity, surgery or psychiatry).
Pass the nursing examination. The final component of the registered nursing program is to pass the NCLEX-RN (national licensing exam). This examination is administered by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) in all 50 states. You may contact the NCSBN to receive more information about this exam (see Resources below).

How to Earn Extra Credits Outside of High School During the Summer
Meet with a school counselor, administrator or teacher before school ends to discuss options for extra credits through online classes, summer school, college courses or home schooling. Ask about the rules, which vary by school and state.
Enroll in a summer school program sponsored by your school district. For example, if you are part of the Springfield school district and Springfield has two high schools, Springfield North and Springfield South, you may usually sign up for summer courses at either school. Replace a year or semester's worth of classes (depending on your school's scheduling system) with a four-credit summer school course.
Take a class at your local community college. Fill out the appropriate forms at your high school's administrative office to receive credit for course taken through a local college.
Study for an AP test on your own. Take the test and if you get a passing grade, you will receive college credit even if you do not take the AP class. Check with the college you wish to attend for information concerning their specific credit amounts and score requirements.
Pass a placement test to opt out of the lower levels of a class, such as first year Spanish. Arrange for a placement test by speaking to a teacher of the class for which you will be testing. Find out if you can receive credit for the class even if you don't have to take it after passing the test.
Get any special permission you may need from the office at your school or the school board office for a home schooling or online learning program. Secure parental permission, even if you plan to teach yourself the material, as this may be required. Take an online course or learn the material on your own and take any tests or produce any portfolio required by your school on the material.

How to Earn Supplemental Income
Earn additonal income by establishing your own niche website. While it won't happen overnight, if you can add a page or two a day you will see results quickly. Try Site Build It! for a complete website service that includes hosting, training and support. (See link under Resources, below, for information.)
Earn extra money by freelancing online as a writer, web designer, graphic designer, or tech support. Check out RentACoder, eLance and other job bidding sites.
Get a second job nearby. Look for jobs at schools and hospitals, rather than retail outlets and restaurants, to improve job security. A night job as a hospital security guard or school janitor will be low-key and bring in extra supplemental income for your family.
Offer your talents or skills for hire as a musician, mechanic, baker, landscaper or handyman. Many services are still in demand, especially since many people will repair what they have instead of buying new.
Find ways to build up a passive or semi-passive income stream. The possibilities are numerous, including a rental business of paid-for items (houses, apartments, equipment, bikes, cars, farm tools), fruit orchard, or even more passive, residual income from online writing and websites.
Produce and sell food or necessary goods. As fuel and food prices rise, people are looking for local products and local solutions. From selling chickens and eggs, to raising beef for local sale, you can be part of the solution and earn supplemental income at the same time.

How to Earn a CLAD Certificate Online (4 Steps)
Have a California teaching credential. To receive the CLAD certificate you must be a licensed teacher in the state of California. You do not have to be presently teaching to be eligible for a CLAD certificate. Visit the California Department of Education's website to obtain your teaching credential if you have not already.
Locate an online school that provides 12 or more higher-level graduate semester units of CLAD classes, which prepares you for CLAD certification. In order to meet the CLAD certification requirements, you must have taken a certain amount of courses. There are many online schools in California that offer this coursework. For example, Canyon College offers online CLAD programs. It takes approximately eight weeks per class to complete your CLAD requirements (four classes minimum).
Prepare for the CTEL certification test. The scoring on all three tests will be scaled to 220, which is the minimum passing score. However you can score between 100 and 300 on each of the three subtests. You have five years to use each test towards your certification. The CTEL examination can be taken as often as needed in order for you to pass. Utilize the study guides on the CTEL examination website to be prepared for the test.
Apply for your CLAD certificate. Expect to pay a processing fee. Send in a copy of your CTEL examination scoring, the application and transcripts of the necessary coursework that you took online for the class certification.
