How to Make Extra Money Each Month (13 Steps)
Inventory your personal skills and talents. Ask people who know you well to do the same. Think outside the box for skills that may not seem marketable. Take a skills assessment test at your local employment office, which will give you an inventory of potential jobs that match your skills.
Note the time slots you have available to work. Consider the effects on your family, if applicable. Categorize potential jobs in order of preference, matching preferred jobs with available time slots.
Apply for the preferred jobs with the pretext of working a maximum number of hours. Discuss your specific availability during the interview process to avoid conflicts later.

How to Design a Membership Program
Choose the focus of the membership program and create a business plan around it. Are members paying for access to information and content, supporting a larger mission such as saving whales or funding eduction, or are they paying for training of some type? Decide what content will be provided and what member levels and fees will be available. Decide who the target audience is by identifying their demographics, such as age, gender, income levels and education. Decide what format the membership will be delivered in.
Create a budget for the membership program. Expenses to consider include staff and computer services needed to manage the program, advertising and publicity costs, office supplies and miscellaneous expenses, mailing list acquisition, program maintenance and gifts and freebies for members and prospective members. Costs may increase as membership increases.
Plan the infrastructure and delivery method. Infrastructure refers to the internal process for accepting membership payments, managing member accounts, loading and maintaining content and tracking the progress of the program. The delivery method may be through email, a website with login, strictly through regular mail or a combination of all of these.
Create the content and delivery schedule. Writing content may require hiring writers or assigning the job to an employee. Requests, materials and content will need to follow a schedule in order to arrive in the members' email or account window at the appropriate time. Content can be a mix of blog posts, updates from experts, articles, audio or video scripts, reports or lessons.
Create a membership recruitment campaign. Plan online advertising, direct mail or other campaigns that draw in new members. Potential members must see the value in joining the program.
Plan a maintenance process. Getting new members is only the beginning of a membership program. Retaining and maintaining the membership will keep monthly income flowing into the business. Compelling offers at renewal time or automatic renewal built into the initial sign-up campaign are several ways to retain members. Continuous advertising and brand recognition can also help maintain membership numbers.

How to Pay Your Bills While Going to College (6 Steps)
Assess your personal financial situation. Sit down and make a list of all bills you have to pay each month, including the amount. Tally the totals to determine how much money you need to come up with each month to keep from falling behind on your payments.
Attend a state university in your home state. Traveling outside your state to go to college is more expensive than the cost for resident students, so you can cut costs by going to a state university in the state where you reside. State universities also tend to be cheaper than local colleges, as they are funded by the government.
Get a job if you don't already have one. In order to pay your bills, you need to ensure you have regular income each month to maintain all your expenses. Visit the campus registrar's office for information about on-campus part-time work. Students who work on campus often have extra time to devote to their classwork, while still earning money to pay bills. If you can't find an on-campus job, try to find a flexible job that will work around your college schedule.
Apply for grants and scholarships. Grants and scholarships help offset the cost of your education, reducing and sometimes eliminating the need for student loans. Depending on your educational focus, income bracket and social situation there are thousands of grants available in the United States for students of all ages. Research grants and scholarships online through the Student Gateway to the U.S. Government (link in Resources.)
Apply for federal and private student loans. Many people are not keen on the idea of accumulating more debt while in college, but student loans can help alleviate the cost of college, providing you with leftover funding to buy books, supplies and even pay your bills. When filling out federal aid forms on the official FAFSA website, they may also search for federal grants you qualify for.
Apply for a student-specific credit card. Many large credit card companies have credit accounts specifically designed for college students. A credit card, when used responsibly, can help cover your financial bases on months when your cash flow is a little thin. Do not rely on credit cards to pay your bills every month, as a credit card is a bill as well and you will only accumulate more debt when you depend solely on your credit cards.

How to Start an MLM Company
Go to the bookstore and purchase some business opportunity magazines. Look at the different products being sold via MLM or network marketing. Think about products that people purchase frequently and on a regular basis. Consider joining an MLM business opportunity to get some experience marketing and selling products over the phone before starting your own company.
Decide what type of product to sell. Go online and search for a wholesaler for your products. Ask wholesale suppliers if they will dropship or send products out to your customers. That will prevent you from having to carry any inventory. Choose the wholesaler that offers dropshipping, a low unit cost, and a quick delivery time.
Select a name for your company. Call your local county clerk's office and have them send you an application for registering your DBA (doing business as) and vendor's license. Mail the application back with your payment.
Set a retail price for your products. Allow enough of a profit margin so that your distributors can get at least 20 to 40 percent on their purchases. Determine how many levels deep you will pay those people who join your company. Search online for companies that sell MLM payment software and consulting.
Hire a web designer to create a website for your MLM company. Order samples of your products, take a picture of them, and provide the web designer with a brief description and the price of each one. Notify the web designer that you will need self-replicating sites for your distributors.
Create price sheets, catalogs, and order forms for your products. Develop a distributor's kit that includes a wholesale price list and order forms for your distributors. Include a welcome letter that provides each distributor with information on how to get their business started quickly.
Find an attorney in your area or online that specializes in MLM law. Make sure your payment structure and business plan are legal. Make the necessary changes if the attorney wants you to change anything.
Advertise your MLM company in the classified section of business opportunity magazines. Include a display ad in these publications as well. Test the advertising response of various card decks, which are packets of 40 to 60 postcards wrapped in a cellophane wrapper that are usually mailed to people interested in starting a business. Place an ad with Google's Adsense program. Add your website to the major search engines such as google.com, yahoo.com, altavista.com, and lycos.com.

How to Start a Home
Write a business plan for your home-based business. Initial business plans can be a simple road map for starting the business. If you plan to approach a bank or venture capitalist for start-up capital, however, your business plan should be comprehensive and detailed. It should include a summary of the home-based business idea, details of each product or service, an evaluation of the marketplace and competitors, a marketing plan and financial information such as start-up fees, marketing costs and salaries. Business plan templates are available at SCORE.org and business.gov websites. North Carolina residents can contact the BusinessServi Center for free help with business plans.
Register the business and apply for a state business license through the North Carolina Department of the Secretary of State office if your business is a corporation, LLC, LLP or limited partnership. Register sole proprietorships and general partnerships with the County Register of Deeds office. Inquire about local business licenses through your city, town or county and confirm that your business won't violate zoning ordinances. Apply for North Carolina retail sales and use tax license if your business sells retail items and/or rents tangible property. Use form NC-BR and send by mail or complete the form on the Secretary of State website.
Apply for a federal Employer Identification Number through the Internal Revenue Service website. An EIN is required for federal tax filing and opening a bank account.
Organize your home office. Designate an area in your home for business. This can be a room with a desk, computer and office supplies. If you sell products, have an area for item storage, order filling and shipping. Keep business areas separate from your family living space.
Get funding from a bank, venture capitalist or the U.S. Small Business Administration if you need it. The business plan and a persuasive elevator pitch will be critical to securing funding. An elevator pitch is a 30-second summary of your business you can use on investors. Practice reciting your pitch before you meet with a potential investor.
Market your business by word of mouth, online marketing and print or radio ads. Online advertising can include pay per click advertising or social media marketing through Facebook, Twitter and other social websites. Hire a marketing specialist or visit a SCORE office for help with your marketing.
