How to Make Money With a Laptop (8 Steps)
Set up an account on eBay if you do not have one already. One of the best ways to start making money with your laptop is to gather up your unwanted items and start posting them on eBay.
Establish a PayPal account as well. A Paypal account makes it easier for your buyers to bid with confidence, and many eBay buyers will not deal with a seller who does not accept PayPal payments.
Travel to yard sales and flea markets in search of items you can resell on eBay and other online auction sites. Bring your laptop with you to look up final selling prices of similar items. This will make it easier to find the products that are likely to garner the highest profits.
Solicit items to sell from your friends and family members. Many people have items they would like to sell on eBay, but they do not want to go through the hassle of setting up their own eBay account and shipping the products when they sell. Offer to sell these products in exchange for a percentage of the sale price.
Look for opportunities as a virtual assistant, freelance writer and customer service representative. Many companies use freelance labor to get things done--with opportunities ranging from website design and content writing to concierge service for well heeled clients. When looking for work with your laptop, however, avoid websites that charge upfront fees--these are generally scams. Legitimate work at home sites will not charge a fee for participation.
Visit the Rent a Coder website (see Resources) and review the assignments available there. This popular freelancing website includes opportunities for computer programmers, technical writers, proofreaders, editors and other professionals. Freelancers bid on the available jobs, and buyers are free to choose the person who best meets their needs. There is no up front charge for using the site, but Rent a Coder keeps a percentage of the proceeds in exchange for providing the marketplace.
Go to the Live Ops website (See Resources) and review the training materials and frequently asked questions. This site provides live phone support and ordering services for a number of different companies, using operators who work out of their homes. When applying to the site, be prepared to take a test and provide a resume. This company can be very selective about who it hires, so some previous customer service experience would be a big plus.
Visit the VIP Desk website (See Resources) for information about work as a virtual concierge. These virtual concierge services are similar to the jobs performed by a concierge at an upscale hotel, so previous experience in the hospitality industry is a big plus. Expect to take a test and provide a resume with a list of references before being considered for a position.

How to Make Extra Money with Massage (5 Steps)
Offer your massage services to a raffle or charity fundraiser. By donating a couple of hours of your massage time in the form of two massages that can generate funds for a good cause, you get free advertising, new potential clients and generate interest in your services.
Set up a neck and shoulders massage at local events. Summer time is a great time for town center events, street fairs and celebrations. Talk to local businesses about setting up a chair massage. These can be popular in bath and lotion shops, particularly if you use their products. You make some extra money and they get customers.
Print out business cards. VistaPrint offers 250 to 500 business cards for a low price. Offer a discount first massage on the business card and leave the cards at local businesses. This generates potential income.
Bring your own supplies for sale. Working for yourself means you make extra money, but you can also advertise other massage products, lotions and oils and make money that way.
Listen to what your client wants. If the client wants light pressure, give them light pressure. If they want to chat, chat. If they want total silence, give them total silence. In a service industry, you make more money off tips when your clients are satisfied and get what they want.

How to Sell Sheet Music Online (4 Steps)
Decide whether you want to become an affiliate or if you want to sell your own sheet music. Affiliates are marketers who spend time marketing an existing company and make money when someone buys a product from the company they market. Selling sheet music yourself will generally have a higher profit margin, but it will also take more work to set up your own online store.
Develop a marketing plan. If you are an affiliate, you will want to consider setting up a referral website to market. You can collect information on your visitors and even ask visitors to sign up for an e-newsletter or email announcements. You could also simply decide to advertise the website you are marketing without setting up your own site. You can sign up for pay-per-click advertising on different sites such as Google, Bing or Yahoo!, or you can pay to have banner advertising on specific websites that you think will be profitable.
Sign up to become an affiliate with any online music store that you are interested in selling for and that offers affiliate programs. Learn whether an online store offers affiliate programs by looking for an affiliate program link at the bottom of its web pages.
Begin advertising. Web 2.0, which includes social networking sites such as MySpace, Facebook and Twitter, is a great way to get the word out about the sheet music you are selling. You can also advertise in forums and through article marketing.
