How to Earn Free Comps in Las Vegas (6 Steps)
The key to earning free comps from Las Vegas is to get your name into the casino database. If you don't mind getting some advertising emails from the various casinos, one of the easiest way to get free rooms or at least promotion offers is to sign up on their emailing list. Just by doing that, you are well on you way to earning free comps in Las Vegas, especially during the slower months where the casinos are trying to get people to go gamble and spend.
The next thing to do when you are in Las Vegas is to get a Player's Club card for all the casinos that you like. The amount of comps a casino will give out is straightly based on the calculation of amount of bets per hand x length of play. The higher this value, the more comps you will earn, plain and simple. Keep in mind that the more expensive casinos (Bellagio, Venetian, Wynn, etc.) have a $25 per hand minimum policy towards point counting system, meaning if you are betting $10 per hand, you will never earn comps. However, $10 per hand will work in almost anywhere else.
The whole scoring system is performed by the pit boss, so be nice to him/her. They have the latitude to give you a high amount per hand count meaning you will earn more comps faster. Even though you don't have to loss money to earn free comps in Las Vegas, making it seem like you are losing sure wouldn't hurt your chances. When you sit down at a game table, always buy in with as much money as possible. It doesn't mean you have to play it all. Say you plan to play with $200, buy it with $400 or more, and just put the money back into your pocket. When the pitboss is looking, try to bet a higher amount than usual because that's what he uses to count your points. As I play and win, I like to put the chips back in my pocket to make it seem like I'm not winning.
Slow down the pace of the game whenever you can. Remember the longer you play, you more comps you will earn. Order a few drinks and sit out a few hands. The drinks are free anyways! Once in a while, ask the pitboss the average bet amount per hand he's counting you for. If it's higher than your actual bet, great, if it's lower, let him know to correct it.
After a couple hours of playing, it's probably time for a meal. As the pit boss to see if he can comp you a free meal. Chances are you haven't gambled enough to earn the free meal just yet. If that's the case, ask him for a line pass to the buffet or other restaurant, this alone can save you half and hour to an hour of wait time at the good buffets.
After your trip and if you followed the steps above, you should already begin to receive room and meal offers through the mail. Use them, take another trip back and repeat the same steps again and again. You will see that you offers will get better and better. I can tell you that I gamble only $10-25 per hand playing pai gow poker (very even game) for 3-4 hours each trip, most of the time I break even. I get free room offers with food credit in the mail non-stop from 3 to 4 different Las Vegas casinos. But I must warn you, once you start getting free rooms, you will never want to pay for a hotel room again!

How to Make Money Daily From Home
Assess your hobbies and strengths to determine what type of freelance work you should do. Though you work for clients, as a freelancer you must motivate yourself to work so it's important that you both enjoy what you do and are good at it. Writing, editing and Web development are just three types of freelance work that you can do from home.
Gather a portfolio of your best work or make one if you don't already have one. Potential clients want to see proof that you can complete the work that they contract you to do.
Divide the amount of money that you need to cover your monthly expenses by 20 or 30 to determine the minimum amount of money that you must make each day. Divide by 20 if you plan to work Monday through Friday and by 30 if you plan to work every day of the month. Divide the result by the maximum number of projects you can complete each day (for example, editing 4 articles or designing 1 website). This the minimum you can afford to charge each client.
Open a PayPal account. Clients commonly pay this way for work-at-home jobs since it allows for fast, secure money transfers without disclosing your location.
Search your local newspaper and websites such as vWorker, Elance, oDesk and Craigslist for freelance job listings in your area of expertise. Apply to every job for which you are qualified, quoting a fee equal to or higher than your minimum depending on the complexity of the project.
Accept as many projects as you can fit into your schedule. Request at least part of your fee upfront to protect yourself against clients who won't pay after you deliver the work.
Work in a quiet space in your home to help yourself focus since your productivity determines your income. Fulfill the client's requests entirely and check in often to make sure that you aren't wasting time doing work that the client won't accept. Deliver the project promptly to encourage the client to refer you to others, as well as to keep your schedule clear for more projects. Save a copy of your work to include in your portfolio.
Repeat Step 5 daily to keep a flow of clients. Though a client may enjoy working with you, since you're a freelancer it's unwise to consider him a reliable source of income.

How to Earn Ranks in the Military (4 Steps)
Ask your commanding officer what the 'zone' requirements are. These have to do with the amount of time in the military required for promotion. One of the ways to earn rank is to be recommended by your supervisor to a promotion board. Your chances of getting a recommendation are increased by doing well on your appointed tasks, volunteering for special duties, getting good test scores and having a solid and consistent physical record. Promotion boards take into consideration how well you complete your assignments. Perform exceptionally and you will have a better chance of earning a higher rank when the time comes.
Put your time in. Many of the promotions to a higher rank are based on the time you have spent in the military. Eighteen months is the minimum time required by law before you can gain your first promotion if you hold the rank of ensign or second lieutenant. An officer who holds the rank of first lieutenant has to have served for at least two years. If you hold the position of captain, major or lieutenant colonel in the Army, Marines or Air Force you will need to have served in that position for at least three years. Also the grade of lieutenant, lieutenant commander or commander in the Navy requires at least three years in that grade. If you hold the grade of colonel or brigadier general or captain or rear admiral in the Navy, you must have served at least one year at this rank before you're eligible for promotion.
Get a college degree. You will automatically earn a higher rank than an enlisted recruit and will enter as an officer. You can apply for the ROTC program and have your education paid for by agreeing to enlist in the military when you graduate. If you plan to reach the level of warrant officer you will need special training, such as that offered at Officer Candidate School (OCS) or Officer Training School (OTS). Those accepted into these programs need to have an excellent academic record, recommendations from teachers and above average college aptitude test scores, and must pass a physical exam.
Choose the right branch. Although all the branches of the military will offer accelerated advancement if you have a college degree, the different branches offer advancement for different criteria. For example, the Army offers accelerated promotion to enlistees with certain skills or job training that were acquired as a civilian. The Navy offers accelerated rank for participation in certain enlistment programs. The Air Force is the only branch that offers accelerated promotion to enlistees of six years. You are also eligible for promotion if you were a boy or girl scout and refer friends to join.

How to Earn a PHD in Finance (7 Steps)
Read the free job opportunities section of the 'Chronicle of Higher Education' online edition. Get an overview of demand in academia for finance PhDs. This respected publication also lists positions in industry for advanced degree holders.
Review the US News and World Report ranking of the nation's top business schools to narrow the list of choices by location, program length, faculty and student body characteristics.
Select a minimum of five schools that closely match your degree choice. Request application forms and information about financial support. Almost all PhD students are supported by fellowships and teaching assistantships during their first year.
Choose at least three schools and complete the application process. If you have doubts about your qualifications or don't have your Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) scores, start by applying to middle and lower tier schools. These schools are more flexible than first tier schools and they do admit candidates with less than perfect academic qualifications and test scores.
Register and prepare for the GMAT. Buy exam study guides or check them out from your local library. Take online practice tests you have time. The GMAT is now a computer-based exam. Download free exam practice software at the MBA website. Take practice tests before the exam.
Finish the admissions process for the fall semester by early December of the current year. Order all your transcripts as soon as you have selected the schools. Most graduate programs application deadlines fall between December and January. Many colleges close for the holidays at this time.
Complete the required courses. Conduct research, prepare and defend your dissertation. Estimate a minimum of five years for all courses and other requirements. The national average is seven to eight years.
