How to Earn Extra Money

Ask your employer if it is possible for you to work overtime or pick up extra shifts. Your employer may even have a special project or extra work you can take on for a little more pay.
Evaluate your skills and interests and find a niche for a small part-time business or job you would enjoy doing. Generate ideas by writing down a list of all the jobs you've held and skills you have.
Approach local businesses for a potential match. For example, if you have sewing or quilting skills you could ask local fabric or craft stores if they know of any leads for work. If you're an accountant or particularly good with numbers you could earn extra money by preparing taxes during tax season.
Sell your baked goods at church bake sales or other community sales. If you are skilled at making jewelry you can create pieces to sell at craft fairs. Convert your hobby into a source of extra income. Many scrap-bookers and greeting card makers sell their creations or services as a way to make extra money. Sell your wares through Craigslist, eBay or Etsy.
Plant vegetables seeds in the winter and transplant the seedlings into individual pots when they are several inches tall. Sell these at your local farmer's market or flea market in the spring.
Gather up the belongings you no longer need and sell them at a flea market or community yard sale where there is plenty of foot traffic. Price your items to move but also to give you the cash you need. List big-ticket, expensive items on Craigslist.
Offer babysitting or daycare services on the weekends or at special events. Contact wedding or special events coordinators to see if you could offer your child care services at events they coordinate.
Develop or hone writing skills and become a freelance writer. You could offer your services for online content or blogs, especially if you have expertise in a certain area.

How to Make Money Without a Computer from Home

Making money from home is as easy as a click of a mouse. Aren't you tired of hearing that? Not everyone needs to utilize a computer to make an honest living from home. It's a not difficult, in fact it is easy.
You have to be really creative, but when there's a will, there's a way.
Sell stuff from home. Without the use of a computer you can still sell stuff. And you don't have to pay for shipping and handling either. Sell antiques, old furniture, jewelry, household items right from your very own garage. Have weekly garage sales, yard sales, sidewalk sales from your own home. Make money by talking to your neighbors and advertising in the weekly penny saver.
Craft, design, and market your own crafts or jewelry. Sell the items you create at your existing jobs, a spouse's or a friend's job. Sell the items you make to neighbors. Have inexpensive jewelry, clothing, handbag or craft parties, and invite your friends and relatives.
Here's one for the hairstylist. For people that style hair, are makeup artists or are great with their hands start your own business in the basement. You can cut and style hair, create makeup, and give massages for certain prices. You will of course have to hang out a shingle and let the government know you are making money. But yes, you can work from home.
How about starting your own band, karaoke or sound system. For people that are musically inclined you can start your own business at home without the use of a computer. Advertise the old fashioned way---by word of mouth, flyers and newspaper ads.
For people who have a lot of patience---tutor children teens and college students. For people that are great with kids, have the patience and are really good in one subject, such as math, science,
or music use those abilities. Tutor kids into getting great grades. For retired teachers, or teachers taking a sabbatical this is a great way to earn extra money from your home or someone else's.

How to Earn The Purple Daisy Petal

The purple Daisy petal is the part of the Girl Scout law that means to 'Respect Myself And Others.' This is a very important lesson for girls to learn.
Read to your troop the book 'I'm Gonna Like Me' by Jamie Lee Curtis. I love this book! This is a great book about self-esteem teaching girls to like themselves despite differences.
Do a craft with the girls and make 'girls are great' mirrors. Cut foam into a daisy shape, then cut a hole in the middle - this will be the frame for the mirror. Glue the mirror to a solid piece of foam then glue the foam frame around it. Glue a magnet on the back side. Glue word bubbles around the frame with sayings like 'I'm a nice person,' 'I'm a good friend,' 'I have pretty eyes' etc. Every time the girl looks into to mirror she'll have reminder thoughts of self-respect.

How to Bake to Earn Extra Money

Hold a bake sale. If you're selling your baked goods to reach a one-time goal, such as a fundraiser, set up a table at your school or community center. Advertise your bake sale beforehand by posting fliers and letting locals know about your event, or hold your bake sale at a widely populated event, such as a craft sale or fair. Make sure you have permission from the appropriate resources to hold your bake sale.
Open a stall at an open market. Many cities and towns hold open markets from the spring through the fall and, aside from fruits and vegetables, markets often have openings for baked goods. Contact the organization that operates your local open market to inquire about getting your own stall. Keep in mind that you may need to invest in a table, tent and chairs to start a stall; however, this is a great way to gain a following, and you may be able to continue taking orders through repeat clients through the winter months.
Sell your baked goods online. Websites that allow members to sell crafts often allow bakers to sell their baked goods as well. Simply create an account, upload photos of the types of baked goods you sell and assign your goodies a price. Tell everyone you know about your online shop so that you can make sales right from the start.
