How to Earn Hilton Honors Points

Join Hilton HHonors, if you're not already a member. Visit the Hilton HHonors website and click on the 'Join' tab, which appears at the top center of the page. You will be asked to register and create an account. The registration process is simple and joining Hilton HHonors is free.
Start earning points by booking a reservation at any Hilton hotel worldwide. With thousands of hotels and ten different brands to choose from -- including Doubletree and Homewood Suites -- you won't run out of choices. When reserving your room, enter your Hilton HHonors username and password to get points credited with your reservation.
Double dip points. You can select how you want to earn hotel points and/or airline miles, with a perk called Double Dip Earnings. Select your earnings preference from these three options: HHonors Points and Variable Miles, HHonors Points and Fixed Miles or HHonors Points and HHonors Points. If you want to earn miles and points, just present your HHonors details and airline frequent flyer numbers when booking a hotel reservation and at check-in. Maximize your points with Hilton credit cards. U.S. residents can apply for the Hilton HHonors Card or the Hilton HHonors Surpass CardSM from American Express, as well as the Citi Hilton HHonors Visa Signature Card from Citibank. There are also options for residents of certain other countries. By using Hilton credit cards, you'll earn points for your daily purchases that you can cash in for free hotel stays, air travel or merchandise.
Refer family members and friends to Hilton HHonors. When you invite other people to join the program, you'll receive up to 25,000 bonus points. You get 1,000 bonus points from every hotel stay they complete up to 25,000. Plus, they will be awarded 1,000 bonus points after their second stay.
