How to Make Money as a Model (6 Steps)

Research a reputable agency to apply to. Choose a large agency with exposure to the main modeling markets of Los Angeles, New York and Miami if you are hoping to get regular work.
Send in snapshots of yourself. Follow the submittal requirements on the agency website for specific details, but typically one or two head shots and three full body pictures will be enough. Use your casual family photographs -- legitimate agencies do not require professional pictures to know whether they are interested in representing you.
Obtain representation from the agency. Be wary of any agency that asks you for money upfront. You should only have to pay for the printing costs of your composite cards -- also known as zed cards -- and you do not need to waste money on modeling training classes or professional photographs to build your portfolio.
Order your comp cards. These should display a variety of pictures to demonstrate your versatility and include your statistics such as height, weight, clothing and shoe size. Your agency will distribute your card to potential clients, who will evaluate your look and decide whether they want to meet you face to face.
Attend 'go-sees' -- a meeting with the client -- to get booked for jobs. Always arrive on time, dressed appropriately and with minimal makeup. Be polite, friendly and outgoing, but don't talk too much -- be mindful of the client's time. Be patient. Expect to attend at least 10 go-sees for every job you get.
Behave with the utmost professionalism on each and every job. This will help to create a good reputation and make it more likely you will be rebooked by the client. Arrive on time, be patient and don't complain whether you must wait around. Avoid conflict and make an effort to get along with your fellow models during the shoot. Listen to the photographer's instructions and follow his direction at all times. Make yourself known as someone who is easy to work with, and you will get more work as a result.

How to Become an Online Retailer for Walmart

Go to Walmart’s website and scroll to the bottom of the page. Under the section “Walmart.com,” select the option “Affiliate Program.” Toward the bottom of the page, you will see a blue box that says “Become a Member.” Click the blue box. Next, click on the box that says “Create a Linkshare Account.” A new browser window will open and direct you to the Linkshare website. Make sure your browser is not blocking pop-up windows. You will be prompted to enter information to set up an account. The first page asks a series of questions and allows you to set up a username and password. The second page asks for information about your website. After completing both pages, you will receive a confirmation that your Linkshare account has been created.
Return to the Walmart affiliate program sign-up page. Select the other blue box labeled “Create an Affiliate Account.” You will be prompted to enter information, including the Linkshare ID you created in Step #1. It can take up to 24 hours for Walmart to approve your application. Walmart will look at your website to make sure it is appropriate and does not violate the company's terms and conditions.
Once Walmart has approved your application and accepted your website into its affiliate program, you must return to the Walmart affiliate program webpage you accessed in Step #1. Select the category of merchandise you would like to market on your website. You will then be prompted to select specific details of the banner, including animation, size, and type. Walmart’s website will now send you back to Linkshare’s website where you will be given the HTML code for the banner you have created.
Take the HTML code created in Step #3 and insert into your webpage or blog. When somebody goes to your site, clicks on the Walmart banner, and subsequently makes a purchase through Walmart.com, you will receive a commission based on the amount of money they spend there. Electronics, video games, movies, music, books, photo processing, and health and beauty products pay you a commission of one percent. All other products pay a commission of four percent. Commissions are paid out monthly by Linkshare.
